Arietta is a group based round soprano Pandy Arthur, flautist Margaret Preston and harpist +. Depending on the choice of programme a piano accompanist may complete the trio. They perform for occasions such as Burns Suppers, Weddings, Fashion Shows, and Concerts. Their music includes delightful arrangements of Scottish songs, French songs, Christmas music and much more!
As Flute/Soprano/ Piano combination they play arrangements of opera favourites, songs from the musicals, Viennese music and classical repertoire. They are very much in demand as recitalists for their lively presentation and rapport with each other and their audiences.
"The matchless purity of Soprano Pandy Arthur's voice was complemented by the evocative tone of the flute. An interesting repertoire allows Arietta to express every emotion from nostalgia to humour . They had a natural connection with the audience........ a concert experience not to be missed." Laura Yeats Deeside Piper 2004
