Pandy started singing in Gaelic at the Provincial and National Mods and later successfully took part in Scottish Festivals where she was introduced to the music of Robert Burns. Through regular appearances at The Deeside Festival in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, and having frequently sung with Scottish singers including Donald Maxwell, Pandy’s Scottish repertoire has become wide and varied. It includes the quartet 'Quod Libet' from the The Jolly Beggar, a duet arrangement of 'Ye Banks and Braes' by George MacPhee and a more recent award winning composition by the Aberdeenshire composer Winnie Foster and lyricist Margaret Johnston called 'For A’ the Years'

"The matchless purity of Soprano Pandy Arthur's voice was complemented by the evocative tone of the flute. An interesting repertoire allows Arietta to express every emotion from nostalgia to humour . They had a natural connection with the audience........ a concert experience not to be missed." Laura Yeats Deeside Piper 2004
